Discover how Claude Design by Anthropic Labs turns natural-language prompts into interactive prototypes and visual designs inside a conversational studio.

About Claude Design

Claude Design is a conversational design studio built directly into Claude by Anthropic Labs. Powered by the Claude Opus 4.7 vision model, the tool converts natural-language prompts into interactive prototypes, presentations, slides, one-pagers, and polished visuals.

The studio can ingest a GitHub repository to extract your project's existing design system, ensuring brand-consistent output. Once the design is ready, it hands off a structured implementation bundle directly to Claude Code for production build-out.

Claude Design is currently in research preview for Pro, Max, Team, and Enterprise users at claude.ai/design.

Key Capabilities

  • Prompt to Interactive Prototype: Generates clickable, interactive mockups in a single pass from natural language descriptions.
  • Design System Extraction: Points to a GitHub repository to extract design tokens, components, and typography guidelines.
  • Claude Code Integration: Exports structured implementation packages ready for production development in Claude Code.
  • Opus 4.7 Vision Engine: Powered by Anthropic's advanced vision model for visual reasoning and high-fidelity layouts.
