Use the 'Option + Space' hotkey to open or close the Aide AI Assistant on top of any active application. You can also customize hotkeys to option+m or option+l based on your preference.
How do I sign in to AideAI after purchasing a subscription?
Select the login option from the menu (Menu -> Account -> Sign in). Enter your email address (the same one used when you purchased the subscription) and click 'Next'. Go to your mailbox and open the email with subject 'AideAI login requested...' and click 'Sign in to AideAI'. Then click 'Open Aide.app' on the following page. You're all done and can see your Account.
How do I start and stop audio capture for meetings?
There are 2 ways: Way 1 - Select Start/Stop Audio Capture in the menu (Menu -> Start/Stop Audio Capture). Before it, you can select one of the 100+ conversation languages (Menu -> Audio Language). Way 2 - Open Aide AI Assistant, select Meetings, select a meeting language and click the '+' button to start. To stop audio capture, click the stop button. When active, you see a red dot and 'REC'.
Is my data secure with Aide AI?
Yes, Aide AI prioritizes your privacy. Recordings of your screen and audio are stored locally and never leave your Mac. If you use meeting summary features or Ask features, only relevant text data is sent to the cloud. Screenshots are encrypted, processed for your current request, and then deleted. They will never sell your data or do advertising.
Do you train AI models on customer data?
No. Only you have access to your data stored locally on your Mac. No one else (including Aide AI employees) can access it.
