Testers do not need programming skills—they only need to learn how to search for data in the G-Portal, integrate/deploy data into their test environment, and modify data using the G-Questionnaire tool.
Can GenRocket generate test data with full referential integrity?
Yes, GenRocket generates synthetic data with full referential integrity. All GenRocket Domains have an ID or primary Attribute that guarantees referential integrity between Domains, maintaining complex interdependencies within generated synthetic data.
Can GenRocket work with mainframes?
Yes, GenRocket generates data and outputs it to mainframes in required formats via its Receiver component. For VSAM mainframes, the FixedFileReceiver is used. For mainframes with JDBC-accessible databases, the GenericSQLInsertReceiver connects directly via JDBC.
What database systems are supported by GenRocket?
GenRocket supports any database with an available JDBC driver, including Oracle, SQL Server, and DB2. For NoSQL databases, GenRocket has specialized receivers like MongoDBReceiver and DynamoDBReceiver. Custom Receivers can be created for other NoSQL databases on request.
