Lapse
A personal memory layer any AI can read and write
Last verified:
What is Lapse?
Lapse is a personal memory layer that automatically captures and organizes thoughts, work logs, and ideas through voice or text input from any AI system (Claude, ChatGPT, local models) or application. It removes manual note-taking friction by listening to conversations and filing memories with automatic tagging, then making them searchable and retrievable by agents via MCP, REST API, or a graph-based interface.

Sign into Lapse first. In Claude Settings → Connectors → Add custom connector, paste https://lapse.in/mcp and leave client ID/secret empty. One-click authorize if already logged in.
Do I have to manually save my notes?
No. Just mention something while connected and Lapse automatically captures, tags, and organizes it. Ask any connected agent to search or retrieve memories by tag, date, or connection.
