What is Limbiks?

Limbiks is an AI-powered flashcard generator that automatically creates comprehensive flashcard decks from uploaded learning materials in seconds. Users can upload PDFs, PowerPoint presentations, Word documents, text files, JPEG and PNG images of notes or text, and the AI instantly generates a complete set of flashcards. Additionally, Limbiks can create flashcards from YouTube videos and Wikipedia articles by pasting links.

The platform offers powerful built-in study tools to master flashcards immediately without needing external applications. Key features include Multiple Choice Questions that generate full exams with score reports and study tips, customizable study guides with AI-suggested focus areas and tailored complexity levels, an Image Occlusion Generator that automatically extracts images from files, advanced spaced repetition for efficient memorization, and hints and explanations for every flashcard and question. Users can preview generated flashcards before finalizing and have full control to add, edit, or delete any flashcard.

Limbiks supports 21 languages including Catalan, Chinese, Croatian, Danish, Dutch, English, Finnish, French, German, Greek, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Lithuanian, Macedonian, Polish, Portuguese, Romanian, Russian, Spanish, Swedish, and Ukrainian. Flashcards can be downloaded as CSV files or synced directly to Anki with one click using the AnkiConnect plugin. Fill-in-the-blank flashcards are automatically imported into Anki as Cloze style flashcards. The platform is trusted by students for every subject from medical school to language learning.

Limbiks is designed for students, educators, medical professionals, language learners, and anyone who needs to memorize large amounts of information efficiently. It eliminates the time-consuming process of manually creating flashcards, allowing users to focus on studying instead of preparation. The tool is particularly valuable for standardized test preparation, medical school, law school, language acquisition, and any subject requiring extensive memorization.

The platform allows users to select specific pages or slides from uploaded files before generating flashcards by entering comma-separated page numbers or ranges. Limbiks can handle files of any size, though page processing limits depend on subscription level. The AI generates two types of flashcards for every language: fill-in-the-blank and question-and-answer formats.
