What counts as a 'render'?
One call to render(document) — whether on the client, the edge, or your server — counts as one render. Composer sessions, draft edits, and live previews inside the editor are not billed.
Can I bring my own backend and storage?
Yes — that's the default. Maillune hands you the document JSON and a renderer. You decide where to store drafts, who has access, and which provider sends the final email.
Which frameworks does the SDK support?
React, Next.js (both app and pages routers), and Angular — plus a framework-free Web Component build for everything else. All share the same canonical document format and renderer, so a draft created in React renders identically in Angular.
What's the bundle size?
The editor is ~140 KB gzipped, tree-shaken to the blocks you import. The standalone renderer is 18 KB and runs in Node, Bun, Deno, and Cloudflare Workers.
Can I upgrade or cancel mid-cycle?
Yes. Upgrades take effect instantly and we prorate the difference; cancellations apply at the end of the current period. Both are one click from the Stripe-powered billing portal — no free trial, but no commitment either.

Does Maillune see my users' email addresses?
No. Maillune never has to see your users' addresses. You get back inboxable HTML and plaintext from the SDK, or call the render API from your own backend.
What is included in the Free tier?
Free includes 100 renders/month, 50 MB asset storage, visual composer, document JSON, templates, custom fonts, HTML export, and white-label. It's for side projects and getting a feel for the SDK.
How does billing work with Stripe?
Card details never touch a Maillune server. Every subscription, invoice, refund, and tax line is processed by Stripe. You can move your team or cancel from the same dashboard you'd expect, with PCI-DSS Level 1, 3-D Secure 2, and 14-day no-questions refunds.
What's the difference between Pro and Agency plans?
Pro has 2,000 renders/month and 3 workspaces; Agency has 15,000 renders/month, unlimited brand workspaces, white-label sending, and priority support with under 4-hour first response. Agency also includes 3 GB storage vs 500 MB on Pro.
