How long will it take to create my AI model?
Premium and Ultra subscribers get extremely fast training at just 90 seconds. For lower plans (Starter and Pro), training can take 30 minutes to 2 hours. You only need to create your AI model once, then can take unlimited photos with it.
How much does it cost to generate on Photo AI? How do credits work?
Every membership receives credits monthly. Credit costs vary: Hyper Realism photo = 1 credit, Nano Banana Pro photo = 5 credits, Video with sound = 30 credits, Talking video = 3 credits per 100 characters, Upscale = 5 credits, Mocap video = 10 credits, Zoom out = 5 credits, Relight = 5 credits, Combine photos = 1 credit. Large number in top right shows subscription credits (renew monthly), small number shows extra credits (expire after 2 years). Extra credits can be purchased with discounts for buying more.
Can I get a refund?
Yes, but only if you haven't created a model yet, have generated fewer than 20 photos lifetime, and didn't sign up with a referral link. Login, tap the Photo AI logo, select 'Request a refund', and self-refund if eligible. If you've created a model or generated photos/videos, no refund is available due to high GPU costs. Referrals make you ineligible as both parties get free credits. You can cancel subscription anytime to prevent future charges.
What type of photos should I upload for creating an AI model?
Upload 5-20 photos with high variety: mix of close-up selfies and full body shots in various places, angles, clothes, and expressions. Do NOT upload low variety photos, group photos, photos with other people, sunglasses, hats, or photos where your face is cut off or not visible. Accepted formats are JPG, PNG, WebP, and AVIF only.
How much will my AI photos look like me?
Photo AI has the highest resemblance/likeness of any AI app according to the website. The Hyper Realism™ pipeline is trained specifically for high photorealism and consistent faces. Uploading diverse, high-quality photos improves likeness. Sometimes AI artifacts can appear depending on photo quality, but the new Flux model mostly fixes strange anatomy and hands.

Yes, the Pro, Max, and Ultra plans include a commercial use license. The Starter plan is only for personal use and does not include commercial rights.

Go to 'Create new AI model', select 'Couple' under Type to create a model of both people. When uploading photos, EVERY photo must include both people - separate photos won't work as the AI will think you're training a mix. Create the model with couple photos where both appear together, then run packs like Valentine's Day for couple photos. Upscale favorites for crispier results.
