Does Piqt upload my photos to the cloud?
No. All scoring runs locally on your iPhone's Neural Engine using Core ML and Apple Vision. There is no cloud upload by default and no account needed.
Will Piqt delete my photos?
No, Piqt cannot delete photos. When you clear a photo, it moves to a 'Piqt: To Delete' album and remains in your library until you confirm deletion in Apple Photos. You can recover the entire album with one tap.
Do I need to create an account or sign in?
No account, sign-in, or email is required. Piqt works entirely on your device.
How does Piqt score photos?
Piqt scores each photo on five signals: Apple's on-device aesthetics, technical quality, a NIMA aesthetic model trained on 255,000 human-rated images, face detection, and location rarity.
How often does Piqt re-scan my library?
After the initial scan, Piqt watches your library incrementally. New photos are scored as they arrive, edited photos re-score, but existing photos are not re-analyzed unless you manually re-scan.
