What is Vidura?
Vidura AI is a comprehensive prompt management system designed to enhance the generative AI experience by providing a centralized platform for composing, organizing, executing, and managing AI prompts and their responses. It serves as a one-stop solution for managing prompts across multiple AI systems including text-to-text (ChatGPT, Perplexity AI), text-to-image (Midjourney, Stability AI), text-to-speech, and text-to-music platforms. Users can create, label, categorize, and search for prompts while organizing both prompts and their generated responses in a structured manner.
Key features include creating custom categories for AI prompts, using quick templates for common tasks, generating content in seconds with prompt controls, auditing prompt run history to compare multiple experiments, dynamic prompting to generate multiple responses from the same prompt, accessing the Vidura community dashboard to discover new prompts, and securely sharing prompts with selected user groups. The platform also offers built-in prompt templates, label functionality for contextual information, and export capabilities for text AI responses to PDF and Word formats.
Vidura is designed specifically for Generative AI users, AI prompt engineers, ChatGPT users, AI technicians, and developers who need to efficiently manage their prompts targeting various generative AI systems. It serves both individual users seeking productivity improvements and teams requiring secure prompt sharing capabilities. The platform is built to make life easy for AI prompt engineers by solving the problem of storing prompts in ad-hoc storage systems that make retrieval difficult later.
The platform combines prompt management with community-driven learning, allowing users to share their best prompts with others without leaving the Vidura platform and discover new prompts to learn from others about prompting techniques. Vidura's goal is to make Generative AI accessible for a wider audience by bringing multiple AI systems together without compromising on User Experience and extensibility.

Frequently asked questions about Vidura
What is your goal?
Our goal is to make life of prompt engineers easy. Storing prompts in ad-hoc storage systems like local file system or cloud drives makes retrieval very hard later. Moreover, auto-analysis of prompts before executing and post-execution ratings are great features only available with our context-aware prompt engineering platform (PEP).
Is Vidura cloud free to preview?
Yes. Vidura cloud is currently in beta and free to preview. We have decided to give away our open-source version, forever free for personal use.
Can I create custom categories and labels?
Yes, as a user, you can create your own private categories which cannot be seen by anyone. Currently, labels are common to all users, but we are working on private user labels.
What if I need to create prompts for image generation AI like Midjourney?
Vidura is designed to work with all different AI generation systems, so prompts you create can be used with any type of AI generation including text-to-image platforms like Midjourney and Stability AI.
What is Vidura?
Vidura is a web-based prompt engineering platform (PEP) enabling users to manage their prompts by tagging and categorizing. Users can create categories and prompts and share them securely with others by creating groups. Users can also get various quality metrics about their prompts like length and readability scores, and share cool prompts to the community to get feedback.
How do I create a new prompt?
Click on the 'Categories' tab in the navbar, navigate to a category and click on the '+ Text prompt/+Image prompt' button, fill the form and click 'Save & Open' button. You can add labels to add contextual information to prompts and use Quick Templates if you want ideas for common tasks.
How do I run a prompt?
Select a category by clicking 'Categories' tab in the navbar, open a category and click on a prompt in the grey text area. In the next screen, hit 'Run' button to run the prompt.
What is Dynamic Prompting?
Use the same prompt to generate multiple text/image responses using Vidura Dynamic Prompting. You can edit the template and add a variable with curly brackets, for example: 'Write a poem in style of '{{ person }}'', then fill the variable called 'person' with a value and hit 'Run'.
How do I share prompts securely?
Use Vidura 'User Groups' to add members and share a specific set of categories securely to a list of members. Remember to secure your prompts by sharing them with the right people. Sharing prompts is much more than copy-pasting.
What is the meaning of Vidura?
Vidura in Sanskrit means 'wise, intelligent, clever, smart, skilled, or learned'. The platform's goal is to make Generative AI accessible for a wider audience in the best possible way by bringing multiple AI systems together without compromising on User Experience (UX) and extensibility.
