How secure is Content Lab?
Goldcast is SOC2 Type 2 certified and takes data privacy and security seriously. All client data is securely stored and processed within their Virtual Private Cloud (VPC), meaning data is completely private and remains under Goldcast's control. They do not use third-party servers, do not share client data with open-source AI or external platforms, and never use client data to train AI models. AI models are deployed in their own Azure instance behind a VPC.

Goldcast AI generates clips and text summaries based on context and relevance to the overall video. How do I generate AI-powered short clips from my video?
As soon as you upload a video, Content Lab automatically generates AI-powered short clips. To view and edit them: log into Content Lab, click the Show All button on the top-right, select your desired video recording, and the left panel will contain the list of AI-generated clips. Use the Clip Customizer toolbar on the right and Timeline Editor on the bottom to make further edits. Click the + Create Clips button at the bottom to generate more clips.
How do I create clips from the transcript?
Log into Content Lab, click Show All on the top right, select your desired uploaded video recording, click Transcript on the left menu, read the transcript or hit play to find the part you want to clip, select the desired text in the transcript, and click the Create Clip button. Your short video clip is ready and automatically available within the Clips menu. Use the Clip Customizer toolbar and Timeline Editor for further edits.
How do I sign up for Content Lab as a new user?
Go to https://admin.goldcast.io/content/auth/signup and click Sign Up. Create your account by entering your business/work email and a password. Personal emails are not currently supported. Once you successfully sign in, you'll land on the Home tab, which is your Content Lab dashboard. Initially, it contains a demo video to help you get started. Click the Upload File button to upload your video and start editing.
Can I duplicate clips for reuse across different channels?
Yes. To duplicate a clip, click the three vertical dots icon next to the clip, click Duplicate, and click Save. Content Lab creates the duplicate with the name 'Copy of [Clip Name]'. You can reuse a video clip for various distribution channels by duplicating the original and applying the required edits to the duplicated clip to suit each channel's requirements.
