ContractPower is an AI-powered contract intelligence platform specifically built for the renewable energy sector. It helps asset managers, legal teams, deal teams, finance teams, and land teams master complex energy contracts like PPAs, LGIAs, BESSAs, and O&M agreements in seconds. The platform uses proprietary ClauseSense AI engine designed by renewable energy domain experts to extract compliance obligations, flag risks, and provide sourced answers with exact clause and page citations.
Key features include ClauseSense Tracker for automatic extraction of compliance obligations (notice windows, renewal deadlines, cure periods, payment milestones) with email reminders; File Manager with project-first document hierarchy organized by Project → Entity → Contract; Diligence Module that loads up to 100 PDFs simultaneously for M&A due diligence; PowerReg ISO Search for plain-language search of major U.S. ISO and RTO market tariffs; Pre-Made Agents for one-click AI workflows; and Executive Compliance Dashboard for portfolio-level compliance visibility with KPIs and drilldown capabilities.
ContractPower is trusted by top IPPs including EDF, Arevon, and MN8, with over 10,000 energy contracts analyzed across active portfolios. It reduces contract review time by 78% versus manual processes and is SOC 2 Type II certified with AES-256 encryption. Yes, the Base plan comes with a 14-day free trial, no credit card required. You can upload up to 10 contracts during the trial to fully evaluate the platform before committing.
What counts as a contract in ContractPower?
A contract is any single uploaded document - a PPA, LGIA, O&M agreement, BESSA, ISO tariff excerpt, or amendment. Amendments count as separate contracts. Large ISO tariff filings are included in your plan and do not count toward your limit.
How does annual billing work?
Annual billing saves 20% - equivalent to approximately 2.5 months free. Annual plans are billed upfront for the year. You can switch from monthly to annual at any time and ContractPower will prorate the difference.
Can I upgrade or downgrade my plan?
Yes. Upgrades take effect immediately and ContractPower prorates the cost. Downgrades take effect at the start of the next billing period. Your data is always preserved regardless of plan changes.
Does ContractPower train AI models on my contracts?
Never. Your contracts contain commercially sensitive pricing, counterparty terms, and deal structures. Your documents are stored with AES-256 encryption and are never used to train or fine-tune AI models. You retain full ownership and can export or delete your data at any time.
What does the M&A Due Diligence add-on include?
The M&A Due Diligence add-on at $299 per project includes bulk document upload, structured extraction, and a clean export of all key terms across the portfolio. Contact ContractPower for custom scope or volume pricing.
Is ContractPower secure and compliant?

They provide role-based access controls, SSO/SAML for Enterprise plans, full audit logs, and data isolation per organization. Your documents never leave your environment and are never shared or used to train AI models.
What contract types does ContractPower support?
ContractPower is optimized for power purchase agreements (PPAs), interconnection agreements (LGIAs), O&M contracts, lease agreements, BESSAs (battery energy storage system agreements), EPC contracts, ISO tariffs, and site leases. The AI auto-detects document type on upload.
