What is Credyt?

Credyt is real-time monetization infrastructure for AI products that enables developers and companies to observe AI spend per customer, enforce usage limits in real time, and bill customers across every pricing model including usage-based, subscription, hybrid, credits, tokens, entitlements, or seat-based pricing. Every time a user hits an AI app, it costs money, and Credyt bills them in real time by metering and charging for product usage instantly—every API call, message, or AI workload is tracked and billed as it happens.

Key features include real-time cost streaming for every API call and model, hard budget ceilings per customer/agent/team that block actions when balance is insufficient, multi-asset wallets supporting USD/tokens/GPU hours/custom units, a hosted customer Billing Portal for self-service top-ups and usage tracking, profitability analytics with event-level cost tracking, auto top-ups via Stripe, promo and reward credits via Wallet API, and dimensional pricing that applies different rates based on usage attributes. The platform processes every usage event in under 10ms with no batch processing.

Credyt is built for vibe coders who shipped an app in a weekend and need billing in hours without a backend, AI-native companies that need to monetize without slowing down or spending engineering weeks on infrastructure, and scaling teams that want real-time spend visibility and budget enforcement without slowing product development. The team comes from Visa, Checkout.com, TrueLayer, and SumUp.

Frequently asked questions about Credyt

What is Credyt?

Credyt is real-time monetization infrastructure for AI products. It lets you observe AI spend per customer, enforce usage limits in real time, and bill across every pricing model: usage-based, subscription, hybrid, credits, or seat-based.

Does Credyt take a percentage of my revenue?

No. Credyt charges $1 per Monthly Active Wallet. We do not take a percentage of what your customers pay, and we do not add a markup to payment processing fees. Your revenue is your revenue.

How much does Credyt cost to start?

Credyt is free forever to build and test. You get full API access in test mode with no credit card required and no time limit. The first 10 active wallets every month are free forever.

What happens when I move to production?

In production, you pay $1 per active wallet per month, where active means at least one transaction in the billing month. Wallets with no activity cost $0. The first 1M events per month are free, then $2 per million events.

What pricing models does Credyt support?

Credyt supports every pricing model: usage-based, subscription, hybrid, credits, tokens, entitlements, and seat-based pricing. You can also use dimensional pricing to apply different rates based on product usage attributes.

How real-time is the billing?

Every usage event is authorized, deducted, and confirmed in under 10ms. There is no batch processing and no end-of-month surprises. Users see their balance update instantly and you see revenue as it happens.

Do I need to build a billing UI for my customers?

No. Credyt provides a hosted Billing Portal that your customers can access for self-service top-ups, usage history tracking, and auto-recharge setup. No frontend engineering required.

What assets can I bill in?

You can bill in fiat (USD) or custom assets such as tokens, minutes, GPU hours, or any custom unit you define. Multi-asset wallets support USD, TOK, MIN, and other units.

How do I prevent runaway spend?

Set hard budget ceilings per customer, per agent, or per team. Credyt checks the balance before usage is authorized, not after the invoice is generated. If the balance is insufficient, the action is blocked—no threshold overruns.

Can I test Credyt before going live?

Yes. The test environment is completely isolated from production and uses a separate set of API credentials. You can safely experiment, send usage, and explore payment flows without impacting real customer data. Work in test mode throughout integration.
