What is OrgaNice?
OrgaNice is an AI-powered employee engagement platform designed specifically for Slack-first teams. It fosters a listening-based culture by keeping on-Slack teams organized, recognized, synchronized, and engaged without requiring managers to leave their Slack workspace.
Key features include: AI-powered org chart generation that automatically creates and updates org charts from Slack data; birthday and work anniversary celebrations directly in Slack; absence management (PTT, sick days, remote work requests) within Slack; a kudos system for coworker recognition linked to company values with weekly Feedback Friday reminders; and quick surveys/polls with AI-powered insights to understand team sentiment.
The tool is designed for HR professionals, managers, and teams who work primarily in Slack. It addresses common pain points like managers spending 15 hrs/week on administrative tasks, 77% of employees being disengaged globally, and 43% of employees not feeling connected to colleagues. OrgaNice claims teams of 100 people can save $900/month compared to bloated megaplatforms, with OrgaNice costing $125/month.
OrgaNice integrates directly into Slack workspaces, requiring only 4 steps: add to workspace, customize settings via admin panel, let it collect employee data via Slack, and receive a complete employee management suite within Slack.
OrgaNice pricing
Pricing model: Freemium
OrgaNice has 2 tiers with sales-led pricing. The pricing is based on the number of members in your Slack workspace (guests and external members not included). Enterprise plan requires contacting sales for custom pricing negotiated with the OrgaNice sales team, which includes dedicated account manager, SLA commitments, volume discounts, and procurement-friendly features like invoicing and NDAs. The published pricing page directs prospects to a sales contact form rather than self-serve plans. No free tier is advertised on the public pricing page, though a free trial may be available on request via the sales team. OrgaNice charges $125/month (compared to $1,025/month for alternatives), claiming teams of 100 people can save $900/month.

Frequently asked questions about OrgaNice
How does OrgaNice create the org chart?
OrgaNice uses AI to automatically create org charts from Slack data. It sends maximum 4 notifications asking members to fill in missing profile data. The bot sends 2 personal notifications to Slack, then if a member ignores the bot, it sends 2 emails. If the member still ignores, on the next day OrgaNice sends a report to admins with the list of people who didn't fill in all fields, and admins can manually fill in the missing data.
Who can edit positions on the org chart?
Regular Slack members can edit only their own positions. Admins can edit all positions, but admins can edit other admins only after Slack's primary workspace owner logs in to OrgaNice. This is a rule of Slack. If a person is both Slack's workspace admin and OrgaNice's admin, they can do all of the above.
How is pricing calculated?
OrgaNice counts the number of members in your Slack workspace. Guests and external members are not included in the pricing. The pricing page states 'Pick a plan that's right for you' and all tiers route to a sales contact form for custom pricing negotiation.
What happens when I delete a manager with subordinates?
If you delete a manager who has subordinates on the org chart, those subordinates will be deleted from the org chart as well. Deleted people from the org chart can be found on the Data Completion page.
How do I sync Slack profile data with the org chart?
To sync Slack's profile data and the data on the org chart, OrgaNice needs Slack's profile fields to be in API data source instead of User-edited. After changing User-edited data source to API data source, you can change your profile information only on the org chart, and it will change in Slack as well.
What is the Data Completion page?
The Data Completion page displays the 'In progress' column at first, indicating the bot has not yet sent all notifications requesting members to fill in required fields. People are still in the process of filling in fields. Once the bot has sent all notifications, individuals with empty required fields move to the 'Missing {field name}' column.
How do I add OrgaNice to Slack?
There are 4 steps: 1) Add OrgaNice to your workspace by clicking 'Add to Workspace', 2) Complete setup by customizing profile fields, notifications, announcements, time-off requests using OrgaNice's admin panel, 3) Let OrgaNice start collecting employee data via Slack, 4) Give OrgaNice some time to get a true employee management suite always at hand within your Slack workspace.
What features does OrgaNice include?
OrgaNice includes 5 main features: Org chart (AI-powered, auto-updating), Birthdays & anniversaries (celebrations in Slack), Time off tracker (PTO, sick days, remote work requests), Kudos (coworker recognition linked to company values with Feedback Friday reminders), and Surveys (quick polls with AI-powered insights for team sentiment).
Can I get a free trial?
OrgaNice does not advertise a free tier on its public pricing page. However, a free trial may be available on request via the sales team. The pricing is sales-led, directing prospects to a sales contact form rather than self-serve plans.
How much can my team save with OrgaNice?
For a team of 100 people, OrgaNice claims you can save $900/month. OrgaNice costs $125/month compared to $1,025/month for bloated HR megaplatforms with features you don't use. This represents significant cost savings while providing essential HR functionality at your fingertips without breaking the budget.
