Frequently asked questions about Sanalabs
What is Sana Agents?
Sana Agents is a next-generation knowledge assistant designed to transform how organizations access, share, and use company-specific information. It provides chat, search, and interaction capabilities across all your knowledge sources including documents, apps, databases, and meetings, delivering instant answers to anything and solving complex tasks in seconds.
Can I create more than one agent?
Yes, you can create multiple agents, each tailored to different knowledge areas or workflows. Each agent can have its own name, handle (usable in chat with @), description, specific instructions, and designated knowledge sources.
What sources can Sana Agents access?
Sana Agents can access all your company's knowledge sources including documents, apps, databases, and meeting recordings. You can integrate with 100+ applications like Google Drive, Slack, Microsoft Teams, Salesforce, Confluence, SharePoint, and more. Agents can use workspace content, web information, or both.
Can I control which sources Sana Agents uses?
Yes, use the 'Select sources' feature or tag sources in chat to refine your search. You can also select which files, folders, and meetings each agent can use for its responses when creating custom agents.
Is my data safe with Sana Agents?
Absolutely. Sana Agents uses industry-leading encryption and never uses your data to train external models. All model providers are required to not perform any AI model training on Sana Agents data. The platform is SOC 2 Type 2 certified, GDPR compliant, and ISO 27001 certified.
What AI models can I use with Sana?
Sana is model-agnostic, meaning you can choose and switch between leading AI models as you need. The Team plan includes OpenAI and Claude model selection, while the Enterprise plan provides an extended range of LLMs.
How do I create a custom agent?
Open the Agents menu on the left panel, click Create, assign a name and handle, add a description, provide instructions for specific answer formats, select which files/folders/meetings the agent can use, choose whether to use workspace content/web information/both, configure actions and tools, set visibility and roles (Owner, Editor, Viewer), and click Done.
What happens if I remove an asset from an agent's knowledge base?
The agent will no longer use that asset to answer questions. You can remove assets by hovering over them and clicking the bin icon in the agent's knowledge selection.
Can agents access web information as well as internal documents?
Yes, you can choose whether an agent uses workspace content, web information, or both when configuring the agent's knowledge settings.
Who can edit or manage agents?
Permissions are managed by the agent's creator and workspace admins. You can assign roles like Owner, Editor, or Viewer and share agents with the whole workspace or specific people.
