Do you have integrations with AWS S3 bucket?
Yes, you can create an AWS integration to add items (images, videos, documents) from your AWS S3 bucket to SuperAnnotate. SuperAnnotate has read-only access to your data; items are stored in your AWS S3 buckets and only displayed in SuperAnnotate, providing the highest level of data security.
Is my data secure?
Yes. Uploaded data uses AWS Cognito services and is kept in secure S3 buckets with only you or your team having access. There are five levels of roles for controlling team member access. For attached URLs and AWS integration, items are displayed in SuperAnnotate but not stored on local servers. If you request data deletion, it is deleted within a day. The platform is SOC 2 Type II & ISO/IEC 27001:2022 compliant.
How does the project workflow work?
As project admin, you can create workflows to distribute accurate annotation instructions and steps. To create a workflow, go to Workflow, click Create Workflow, add steps by choosing a class, optional attribute, and annotation tool from dropdown. You can automate by checking the Automatic class change box, which enables the class and tool of the first step to be automatically selected for annotators.
What permissions do team admins have?
Team admins can create projects and invite other team members. They can enable training and explore dataset features from team settings. Team admins can set permissions for project admins, but these cannot be changed or reassigned once set.
Are there any public datasets I can explore using SuperAnnotate?
Yes, you can apply public datasets like DOTA, COCO, BDD100K, The Cityscapes, and Pascal VOC to your project using SuperAnnotate's data curation platform.
What annotation formats does SuperAnnotate support?
SuperAnnotate supports its native JSON-based SuperAnnotate annotation format and common formats including COCO, YOLO, and VOC. To use common formats, you must convert them to SuperAnnotate format first. Image projects use <image_name>___objects.json, text projects use <document_name>.json, and video/audio projects use <video_name>.json or <audio_name>.json naming conventions.
