What is Magic ToDo?

Goblin Tools is a collection of small, single-purpose web tools designed to help people—especially neurodivergent individuals—manage tasks and daily life challenges that feel overwhelming or complicated. The suite includes Magic ToDo, Formalizer, Judge, Taskmaster, Professor, Consultant, Estimator, Compiler, and Chef, each focusing on one specific problem like breaking down tasks, adjusting tone, estimating time, or generating recipes.

Magic ToDo is the flagship tool: you type a task, optionally set a “spiciness level” to indicate how difficult or stressful it feels, and the AI automatically breaks it into manageable substeps. You can further break down subtasks, estimate how long each will take, reorder items, filter by category, hide completed tasks, and export or sync your lists across devices. The other tools similarly use AI to transform input text into more useful outputs: formalizing tone, detecting emotion, explaining concepts, helping with decisions, estimating timeframes, turning braindumps into action lists, and creating recipes from ingredients.

The platform is primarily aimed at neurodivergent people (ADHD, autism, OCD, BPD, etc.) and anyone who struggles with executive function, planning, or task initiation. It is also used by students, professionals, caregivers, and support workers who need simple, structured assistance with everyday tasks. The design philosophy is simplicity: small tools, no complex workflows, and free access to the core web version.

Mobile apps (Android and iOS) are offered at a low price to help cover running and maintenance costs; these include in‑app purchases and subscription options such as weekly, monthly, and annual plans, as well as one‑time “Pro” upgrades, but the exact amounts can vary by platform and region. Supporting the developer via Patreon is optional and not required to use any feature.
